A 52-year-old Burbank woman was killed Monday when her car was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Burbank, police said.
The woman, whose name was not disclosed pending notification of relatives, was southbound on San Fernando Boulevard north of Winona Avenue when her car was struck from behind about 5:30 p.m., Burbank police Sgt. Bob Kight said.
The impact sent the woman's car into a nearby wall, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, Kight said.
Police were seeking the driver of the other car late Monday, he said.
