JERUSALEM — A 10% devaluation of the shekel against the U.S. dollar, income tax reforms and wide-ranging price increases were approved at a marathon Israeli Cabinet meeting that ended early Tuesday.

Officials said the actions are part of an attempt to formulate a comprehensive new economic policy intended to encourage growth and keep inflation down.
