Forward Judy Mosely scored 30 points and 15 rebounds to lead Hawaii to a 70-67 overtime victory at San Diego State in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game Tuesday.
Hawaii's victory avenged a 96-56 loss to SDSU Monday night in which Mosely was held to 12 points.
With San Diego State leading in overtime, 67-65, Mosely was fouled while scoring on a layup. She made the free throw, giving Hawaii a lead it never relinquished, as Jeanne Wade-Harris scored the Rainbow Wahines' final points with a minute remaining in overtime.
Hawaii (5-1 in PCAA play, 13-2 overall) outrebounded the Aztecs, 44-29. The Rainbow Wahines also made 93% of their free-throw attempts in the second half (13 of 14).
Debbie Rinder led SDSU with 15 points. Lisa Stevens added 14 points and Jessica Haynes had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Aztecs (3-3, 6-9).
