In response to Ray Butler's letter (Viewpoint, Jan. 17), does he feel any sense of pride whatsoever in his country? It appears not from the way he belittled the process of America's Cup races. Just because he has no knowledge of, or interest in sailing, is no reason to root for the Kiwis.
America's Cup is the world's most famous sailboat race. If he doesn't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all.
Remember, what goes down (under), must come back up.
