Craig McMillan scored 17 of his 23 points in the first half, and Sean Elliott had 16 of his 22 points in the second half as Arizona gained a share of the Pacific 10 Conference lead Saturday with an 81-70 victory over Washington at Tucson.
The defending champion Wildcats (17-9 overall, 12-4 in the Pac-10) are tied with UCLA with two games remaining.
Washington (14-13, 8-8) had a 54-45 lead midway through the second half, but the Wildcats took the lead for good with an 18-3 run.
Washington's Chris Welp had 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Greg Hill added 22 points. Arizona's Tom Tolbert had 19 points and 12 rebounds.
