Two "improvised explosive devices" were found in an underground parking garage at the Promenade Towers in Bunker Hill, police said Saturday.
The explosives, which were not described by police, were found Friday night in the garage of the high-rise apartment at 123 S. Figueroa St., Officer Bill Collins said.
They were in an open area and had not been attached to the building or any car in the garage, an officer said.
Bomb squad officers removed them without incident, Collins said.
No motive had been established and no arrests had been made, police said. The incident was under investigation by members of the department's Criminal Conspiracy unit.
