The Koll Co. has announced its acquisition of the Wilshire-Brentwood Center, a six-story office building at 12301 Wilshire Blvd., in West Los Angeles. The value of the transaction was set at about $17 million by industry sources.
The 100,000-square-foot office building, with three levels of subterranean parking, was purchased from Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York and Morgan Financial Ltd. represented the buyer.
The building is 85% leased. It was completed in 1975 and has two bold, brick-faced elements, separated by a broad, landscaped courtyard entry. The Koll Co.'s Asset Management Division will provide on-site management.
