The estimated 1.1 million men and women who serve in military reserve and National Guard units will gain new flexibility later this month in shopping at military commissaries, the Pentagon said. Under the new procedures, a service member or dependent will be able to shop at a military grocery store up to a certain maximum number of days, rather than being restricted to shopping only on the days the member is on active duty for training. The new rules will take effect March 30.
