MORNING REPORT

Pop/rock

March 20, 1987| Arts and entertainment reports from The Times, national and international news services and the nation's press

Thirty people were reportedly trampled Tuesday night at a Buenos Aires concert by the Cure, the British rock group. About 23,000 fans were in the Ferro Carril Oeste Club stadium, and police said people at the rear started moving forward two hours before the show started. Some fans already seated tried to resist and others were pinned against fences in front of the stage. "It was a true field battle for the conquest of space," the daily Cronica reported.
