Applied Circuit Technology said that Roy Peters has been named to the newly created position of vice president for operations at two of the company's recently acquired pharmaceutical subsidiaries, Whiteworth Inc. and Towne Paulsen, both based in Gardena.

Peters, 45, comes to the subsidiaries after having served four years as general manager of West Coast operations for Helene Curtis Industries Inc. in the City of Industry, where he redesigned the facility to cut costs and increase productivity. He has also served in management positions at Dynachem Corp., a Tustin division of Morton/Thiokol Inc., from 1977 to 1983, and at McGaw Laboratories (now Baxter Travenol) in Irvine from 1973 to 1977.
