Iberia Airlines has launched regular nonstop service from Los Angeles to Madrid. During April and May the introductory fare for Los Angeles Sunday flights will be $599 round trip. Friday flights will be added beginning June 19.

A slide show entitled "Power Places of Tibet and Nepal" will be presented by Toby Weiss today at 7 p.m. at the Center for Yoga, 230 1/2 N. Larchmont Blvd. Cost is $7.50 in advance or $10 at the door. Call (714) 497-5138 for details and reservations.

"Around France by Car," a slide travelogue series, will meet Mondays at 7 p.m. at the Jefferson Adult Education Center, 21717 Talisman St., Torrance.
