President Names Aide for Iran-Contra Issues

SANTA BARBARA — President Reagan announced the appointment Thursday of William Lytton, a former federal prosecutor, to be deputy special counselor to the President on the Iran arms affair.

Lytton, 38, a partner in a Philadelphia law firm, served on the staff of the U.S. attorney's office in Philadelphia from 1978 to 1983.
