The Seoul Olympic Organizing Committee (SLOOC) said Thursday that corporate backing for the 1988 Olympic Games has exceeded the estimated $135 million the '84 Los Angeles Games raised through sponsorship, supply and licensing agreements.
A major part of the international backing has come through The Olympic Program (TOP), a joint worldwide marketing program of the SLOOC, the Calgary (Winter) Olympic Organizing Committee, the International Olympic Committee and the majority of National Olympic Committees.
