President Reagan, responding to a report in Penthouse magazine, said he was "sorry" his son did not tell him when he was sexually molested as a child by a day-camp leader. Michael Reagan, 41, the adopted son of the President and his former wife, actress Jane Wyman, said he looked to the day-camp leader as a father figure because he was neglected at home, the magazine reported in its June issue, saying that the account will appear in an autobiography that Michael Reagan plans to publish in November. Reagan said his son told him of the child abuse when he was visiting for the Easter holiday.
