Hector (Macho) Camacho outslugged Howard Davis on the inside to win a 10-round unanimous decision at Atlantic City, N.J., in his first fight as a junior welterweight.

After beating up Davis (29-4-1), Camacho (32-0) issued an ultimatum to retired World Boxing Assn. lightweight champion Ray Mancini, who has indicated he may return to fight Camacho.
