Transportation Secretary Elizabeth Hanford Dole said she has no plans to leave her job to help her husband, Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.), campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. "I told my employees that I'm not going to be a lame duck. I have no plans to leave right now," Dole said before a speech in Topeka to the 100th anniversary convention of the Kansas Bankers Assn. Sen. Dole has created a campaign exploratory committee but has not formally declared his candidacy.
