A newborn baby girl was found in a flower garden in an industrial area of Carson by a gardner who said the baby was nude and still had its umbilical cord attached. The baby was found in the 1000 block of East Burgrove St., by Rene Miranda, who said he was attracted by the baby's cries. Sheriff's deputies said the infant was in good condition at Harbor General Hospital. Detectives said the baby would be placed in a foster home while the parents are being sought.
