Either Way, It's Racism and It Doesn't Go Away

June 06, 1987

I, for one, despise the Celtics, and if I ever reach "the Gahden," I'll make sure to arrive in a limousine with Billy Carter. However, even the most die-hard Laker fan must praise Larry Bird as one of the greatest ever to step onto a basketball floor. He's the only reason Boston beat Detroit, and these two players were just embarrassed that it only took one player to beat them.

The post-Campanis finger pointing is really getting out of hand and had better end real soon.
