Oklahoma Official Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Charge

OKLAHOMA CITY — H. Russell Wright Jr., a district attorney who serves six western Oklahoma counties, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of distribution of cocaine and resigned in exchange for having 25 counts against him dropped. Wright, who entered the plea before U.S. District Judge Fred Daugherty, faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
