World Airways is moving its base from Oakland.

The firm will relocate its corporate headquarters to the Washington, D.C., area, where it will consolidate operations with Key Airlines. World, a charter and cargo airline, announced in March it was acquiring the Las Vegas-based Key, also a charter airline, and creating the holding firm WorldCorp to manage them.
