June 19, 1987

In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Joseph Sinay, chairman and chief executive of the Los Angeles-based furniture retailer and manufacturer, said he sold 80,000 shares at $10 each to Yearpledge Ltd., a British holding company controlled by Australian businessman Solomon Lew. Earlier this month, Yearpledge bought 400,000 newly issued RB shares. Stanley N. Goff, RB's executive vice president and chief operating officer, said Yearpledge also has bought shares on the open market and has a 26% stake in RB.
