Automobile Insurance Rates Called Exorbitant

June 20, 1987

Rubinger criticizes the auto insurance industry because he was involved in an automobile accident and the insurance carrier came back to charge him $400 a year more for three years.

If Rubinger had taken the trouble to shop around from the many auto insurance companies, he would almost certainly find a better rate and possibly better coverage.

Rather than blatantly criticize the industry for his problem, why doesn't he do something about it and shop around?
