Oakland-based ComputerLand Corp. reported that it has sold ComputerLand Japan Ltd. to Catena Corp., an office computer automation company in Japan. Terms were not disclosed . . . Delta Air Lines said it expanded an existing purchase agreement with McDonnell Douglas, taking options for 20 additional MD-88 jets, for undisclosed terms . . . Santa Monica-based Wickes Cos. has sold New York-based Nazareth/Century, part of Wickes' Kayser-Roth Apparel Group, producers of children's sleep wear, sportswear and underwear. The buyer is a company formed by a group of private investors. Terms were not disclosed . . . Stockholders of Allied Supermarkets of Detroit and Vons Cos. of El Monte will vote separately July 21 on a proposed merger that would transform Vons into a publicly traded company and allow the sale of Allied stores to a company owned by its management . . . New World Pictures of Los Angeles informed Kenner Parker Toys Inc. that New World has been acquiring Kenner shares and may purchase 15% or more of the Beverly, Mass., firm's stock . . . Minnesota's governor agreed to call a special legislative session today to consider anti-takeover legislation requested by Minneapolis-based Dayton Hudson Corp., the object of a hostile takeover attempt.
