First broadcast in 1967, this fourth animated "Peanuts" special still ranks as one of the better entries in the series--and a reminder of how entertaining these programs were before a weary sameness crept into them. Much of the dialogue is taken verbatim from Schulz's strips and the characterizations are sharply focused. The animation is limited but skillfully handled.
