Ginger Meatballs for Unexpected House Guests

When unexpected guests drop in, you need something quick and easy to prepare that is pleasantly satisfying as well. Microwave Ginger Meatballs can be the perfect dish for this occasion.

Simply season lean ground beef with bread crumbs, bottled teriyaki sauce and ginger, shape into 1-inch balls and microwave on HIGH about 5 to 7 minutes. With help of microwave oven and commercially prepared teriyaki sauce you have fast and tasty appetizer that is sure to delight family and friends.

In bowl, combine 1 pound lean ground beef, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup bottled teriyaki sauce and 1 teaspoon ginger. Mix well.

Shape into 1-inch balls and place on round rack with microwave-safe casserole underneath. Cover with paper towels. Microwave on HIGH 5 to 7 minutes, drain and serve. Makes about 3 dozen meatballs.
