Mexicana Airlines has boosted fares from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Denver to all points in Mexico by $16 round trip and $8 one way.

MGM Grand Air, a new airline aiming at the executive business market, will fly twice a day from Imperial Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport morning and evening beginning Sept. 8, between Los Angeles and New York City. For additional information, call (213) 640-2700.

Continental Airlines will begin daily transcontinental nonstop service from three California cities--San Jose, Ontario and San Diego--to its hub at Newark, N.J., on Oct. 15, with MaxSaver fares $147 one way. Continental also will start twice-daily, nonstop service between San Jose and Houston on Sept. 9, along with four additional daily flights between Los Angeles and San Jose. MaxSaver fares between Houston and San Jose will be $122 one way.

Bed and Breakfast Center Inc., which introduced a U.S. reservations service for more than 200 establishments in Great Britain this year, is expanding the service Sept. 1 to major cities on the Continent, in cooperation with two leading European tour companies, CIT and Kuoni.
