The largest shareholders of MTM Entertainment Inc., a Studio City-based independent television programmer, are President Arthur L. Price with a 44.1% stake and Mary Tyler Moore, a director, with 34.3%, according to the firm's preliminary prospectus for a proposed $100-million initial public offering of 22% of its stock. Moore and Price also own 73,200 shares and 20,000 shares, respectively, of preference stock. All of it is to be redeemed for $9.3 million of the proceeds. Most of the proceeds are to be used for retirement of debt. Other shareholders include Mel D. Blumenthal, senior executive vice president, with 19.6%, and Thomas E. Palmieri Jr., executive vice president, 2%.
