Episodes of "The Bronx Zoo," "Cagney & Lacey" and "Valerie" will receive the Nancy Susan Reynolds Award for sexual responsibility in the media from the Center for Population Options.
Also selected to be honored at a reception at the Hotel Bel Air Nov. 17 were two ABC programs that dealt with teen-age parenthood, the movie "Daddy" and the "Afterschool Special" called "Teen Father."
The awards are given each year by the nonprofit center to encourage sexual responsibility in the media, which it believes are primary sources of information about sexual values. Nancy Susan Reynolds was a philanthropist and pioneer in her support of family planning. She died in 1985.
