Burundi's deposed President Jean-Baptiste Bagaza left Nairobi, Kenya, for Uganda, press reports in Nairobi said. He had arrived in Nairobi from Quebec, where he was attending a meeting when his government was overthrown Thursday by a military coup. Earlier reports said Bagaza had flown to Paris. The Burundi capital, Bujumbura, was reported calm under a military council headed by Maj. Pierre Buyoya.
