Why do some directors of televised baseball games insist on having so many camera shots behind the batter? The TV viewer cannot see the location of the pitch and what kind of pitch it is from this shot. This was especially prevalent in the Angels at Baltimore series.
Also, all the television football announcers do so much talking in analyzing every detail of every play that many of them don't tell the viewers the most important part of each play: What down it is and how many yards to go. This is extremely annoying and frustrating to the casual football viewer.
