So Brian Holloway thinks that the Raiders are "a cut above the rest of the NFL." And Mike Haynes says that the Raiders are "winners."
Well, maybe it's true that football players can't read. Because, if they could, then they would know how foolish they sound. The great (?) Raiders have not been either a "cut above" or "winners" for some time now. And, personally, this transplanted Midwesterner is very tired of the annual, undeserved "Commitment to Excellence" fraud being perpetrated with the help of a duped press, as well as the flotsam and jetsam of the NFL, like Holloway, who wash up on the shores of Oxnard every summer by Al Davis.
However, kudos to Davis for keeping his Raiders in the headlines despite their lack of accomplishment on the field. P.T. Barnum was right.
