The pontiff will be in Los Angeles Tuesday and Wednesday, and the extensive TV plans include live coverage of the arrival, downtown parade, prayer service and public Masses.
Channel 5 has booked 48 hours of continuous coverage, while Channels 2, 4, 7, 9 and 11 also will have papal programming. Channels 34 and 52's coverage will be broadcast in Spanish.
Cable News Network plans to cover the proceedings as well.
