September 14, 1987

Thousands of people sprinkled '60s nostalgia with '80s concerns at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Summer of Love at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. A roster of famous figures of the '60s in attendance included singers Country Joe McDonald and Jesse Colin Young, anti-war activist Daniel Ellsberg and poet Michael McClure.
