Former New York Metropolitan Opera manager Sir Rudolf Bing--reportedly missing in England for three weeks--was located Thursday by London authorities. Bing and his wife were last seen Aug. 25 by their attorney at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. They were located at a London hotel "safe and well," police said. Bing, 85, suffers from Alzheimer's disease--characterized by failing memory--and has been lost and found in Britain several times over the past year. However, police said this was the first time he'd been missing so long.
