"I really wanted to sub, but we really don't have a third team," said Rancho Alamitos Coach Mark Miller, who is in his first year.
Rancho Alamitos' David Singletary rushed for 160 yards in 8 attempts and scored on a 60-yard run in the second quarter.
Savanna (0-2) was held to 40 net yards and 3 first downs.
Savanna got to the Rancho Alamitos eight-yard line after Artis Williams returned a kickoff 78 yards in the third quarter, but a fumble two plays later ended the threat.
