Blackmun Leaves Clinic After Cancer Treatment

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun was discharged from Mayo Clinic on Friday after completing outpatient treatment for a recurrence of prostate cancer, a clinic spokeswoman said. The clinic announced in July that Blackmun, 78, was receiving treatment for "a small and localized recurrence" of the cancer.
