September 21, 1987|United Press International

WASHINGTON — Razing and rebuilding the top five floors of the new, Soviet-bugged U.S. Embassy in Moscow is under Administration consideration, White House spokesman Marlin Fitzwater confirmed today.

The New York Times said today that destruction of at least five floors of the eight-story building was the tentative U.S. decision following discovery of Soviet listening devices implanted in the building's structure and an expert study of the problem.
