Eric Harris, a former Ram cornerback whose career was ended by an injury two years ago, claimed in an Orange County Superior Court lawsuit filed Monday at Santa Ana the team has failed to provide $570,000 in disability benefits as promised.

After Harris filed for disability last December, Ram officials tried to talk him into accepting less money than his 1985 contract specified, according to the lawsuit. Harris also claimed team physicians stated he could continue to play football, when other experts said he could not.
