Weintraub International Enterprises and Madison Square Garden Corp., a Gulf & Western company, announced they have agreed to join in a combined bid to privately manage the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum complex. The Coliseum Commission has called for bids Oct. 26, and half a dozen companies have indicated they will participate in the process. Harry L. Usher, president of Weintraub International Enterprises, said one of his hopes is that his company could assist in holding the Los Angeles Raiders in the Coliseum. The Raiders have said they plan to move to Irwindale.
