County's Top 10 Gets a Shake-Up

SAN DIEGO — Two new teams were ranked in The Times' San Diego County football Top 10 this week as Mira Mesa (4-1) took over the No. 9 spot and Chula Vista (3-0-2) moved into the rankings at No. 10.

Lincoln fell from No. 4 to No. 6 after a 40-12 loss to Morse; Sweetwater fell from No. 5 to No. 7 after a 10-0 loss to Point Loma; San Dieguito dropped from No. 6 out of the rankings after a 31-6 loss to Fallbrook, and El Capitan fell out of the rankings from No. 9 after a 35-21 loss to Mount Miguel.

Vista (4-1) remained No. 1 after its 21-7 victory over Poway.
