The Renaissance Lodge of Orange County has elected Betty Colucci as its first woman president.
Colucci, a member since 1979, has previously held the post of recording secretary for four years and vice president for 2 1/2 years. She has also been the lodge's delegate to the State Lodge of California five times.
Eileen DeSantis, honored earlier this year by the lodge as woman of the year, was elected vice president. A member since 1975, DeSantis has been editor-historian of the lodge newsletter for four years.
Both women are active in the community civic and charitable works of the lodge.
The Renaissance Lodge tries to help various charities, such as local nursing homes, has aided in establishing medical libraries for the research of Cooley's Anemia and contributes to groups that research birth defects.
