Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a string of automobile burglaries after a resident in the 10500 block of Morning Glory Avenue reported someone breaking into his son's car.
Luong Luong, 19, and a 16-year-old, both of Fullerton, were jailed Friday night on suspicion of car burglarly, receiving stolen property and possession of burglarly tools, Police Sgt. Darryl Nance said.
Police said they may be responsible for at least four auto burglaries in the area.
A homeowner on Morning Glory told police that shortly after 10 p.m. he saw the suspects fidgeting with the lock on his son's car in the driveway. When he went outside to confront them, they reportedly ran. Police said they found them down the street hiding behind a parked car.
Nance said police discovered several thousand dollars worth of stereo equipment, cellular phones and auto accessories in the suspects' car.
