Goldome Realty Credit Corp. has agreed to acquire assets of Rainier Mortgage Co., a unit of Rainier Bancorp. Goldome, based in Buffalo, N.Y., announced that it will purchase 22 mortgage origination offices in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Idaho, Hawaii and Alaska owned and operated by Seattle-based Rainer. Goldome also plans to purchase Rainier's residential mortgage servicing portfolio of about $2.6 billion. James Kearney, president of Rainier Mortgage, said the sale fits Rainier Bancorp.'s strategy following its merger with Security Pacific Corp. of Los Angeles. No value was placed on the transactions.
