Seven aliens remained at large from among 30 convicted felons who scattered into the Everglades after scaling two fences topped with razor-sharp wire at a federal detention center in Miami, authorities said. The prisoners, mostly Jamaicans and Haitians awaiting deportation, slipped through a 3-by-5-foot window at the Krome Avenue Detention Center late Sunday after they chipped away an iron grate from its concrete window casement.
