Jessica McClure underwent her seventh and final operation and doctors said the Midland, Tex., toddler who survived 58 hours in an abandoned well last month should be home before Thanksgiving, missing only a little toe. Doctors grafted skin from Jessica's right hip and thigh onto her foot, covering wounds from a procedure performed last month to relieve swelling. There is no longer any concern that Jessica will lose the big toe on her right foot, her doctor said. The little toe was amputated last week. He said sutures from her scalp and forehead were removed.
