The Los Angeles Board of Zoning Appeals voted 4 to 1 late Tuesday to permit the American Multi-Cinema Corp. to operate its AMC Century 14 theaters in an unrestricted fashion. The 14-screen complex, at Century Park West and Santa Monica Boulevard, has been the target of complaints by homeowners concerned about noise and parking problems. They sought to prevent AMC from screening films after 11 p.m. A Sept. 9 decision by the Los Angeles Planning and Zoning Commission favored the homeowners, but AMC appealed.
