Grant Tinker's new company, GTG, begins production on its first prime-time comedy in early spring for CBS, Tinker announced Wednesday. Tentatively titled "Encore" and created by Donald Todd ("ALF"), the show stars Dick Van Dyke playing father to his real-life son, Barry. GTG's agreement with CBS stipulates that the network gets first look at all the company's new shows.
