A motorcyclist was killed when he swerved out of his lane and slammed head-on into a van on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Topanga, the California Highway Patrol said Saturday.
Michael Shepler, 32, of Los Angeles, was traveling south when his Honda motorcycle went into a northbound lane and hit the van near Oakwood Trail Friday afternoon, Officer Diane Lowery said. The driver of the van, Corie Skolnick, 37, of Topanga was not injured.
