In light of all of these "new" shows such as "The New Gidget," "The New Monkees," and "Star Trek: The Next Generation," I would like to suggest to the producers that they spend their time on the creation of new shows rather than these fake carbon copies of what were once great shows. At best, these so-called "new" shows are an embarrassment to the original shows. They have been created in poor taste and do not contain the same quality as the original. The producers of these shows could have better spent their time in creating bright, original shows rather than replicas of old hits. Who wants to watch a copy of an old show when there is a much more entertaining show on the air at the same time?
