A. Larry Chapman, pictured, former vice president of Wells Fargo Realty Advisors, a Los Angeles-headquartered subsidiary of Wells Fargo Bank, has been named president to succeed Fredrick W. Petri, who has been appointed chairman. The firm originates interim construction and intermediate term loans.

The Lusk Co. has announced the promotion of Carol L. Rohan to president of its community association management subsidiary, Professsional Management Associates. Rohan will be responsible for the financial, administrative and property management of community associations.

Michael F. Browning has been appointed vice president of development for Orange-based Bentall Development Co.'s Southern California operations. His responsibilities include generating and directing the development of office, industrial and retail properties for the firm.

Signature Homes, El Toro, has announced the promotion of former project manager Marty Kansriddle to director of planning and engineering. His job will include interviewing and hiring of consultants and overseeing architectural development, governmental processing, and project supervision.

Watt Homes Inc., Torrance, a subsidiary of Watt Enterprises, has announced the following appointments: Jason Leeper, director of customer service; Larry Abney, director of construction, and Gregg Gipe and Cesar Quintero, construction superintendents.

Gail Babnew has formed the Babnew Corp., a Los Angeles-based real estate investment and related services firm located at 787 Malcolm Ave.

Attorney Sally E. Mosher, a Pasadena real estate broker and president of Oakhill Enterprises, has been named by Gov. George Deukmejian to the Advisory Committee of the State of California for the Commemoration of the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution. The Advisory Committee has embarked upon a four-year program to organize, coordinate and support a series of programs and projects.

Benjamin A. Richardson has been named general manager for Chula Vista Center, being developed by Homart Development Co.

VMS Realty Partners, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm, has named Stephen J. Berini senior vice president of VMS Realty Partners and president of VMS Development Corp. Berini will head the firm's new West Coast office located in Santa Barbara.

Native Sun Development Co., Vista, has announced the promotions of Catherine D. Nicholas, vice president, and Jody MacMurray, vice president in charge of finance.

David Gatlin has been named vice president of production at CompuFund Network Funding Corp., Santa Ana.
